The Person Behind LayersX
Giritesha Reddy
LayersX was founded by Giritesha Reddy, an 18-year-old mechanical engineering student driven by an unwavering passion for innovation and creation.
Growing up in an environment deeply rooted in product design, Giritesha was exposed to the world of ideas, prototypes, and invention from a very young age. Inspired by his father’s work and fueled by curiosity, he began exploring how things worked — and more importantly, how they could be improved.
His dedication to innovation earned him recognition at All India innovation competitions, where his ideas stood out for creativity and practical thinking. But beyond awards, what truly defined him was the constant desire to build something of his own.
For years, the vision of starting a business stayed alive in notebooks filled with sketches, concepts, and future plans. Academic commitments delayed the launch — but never the ambition. Now, as a mechanical engineering student, Giritesha has transformed that long-held dream into reality through LayersX.
